Constitution Day Parade

I think there were more participants than viewers this year...nearly 100 entries! Watch for a new entry at the Mardi Gras Parade...Sparky already has a theme and it's a good one! It's so cute to watch the faces of the little kids at the parade. Also, Jesse and Kay Connor were very kind to host the Friday pre-parade event. Jim Crowley won best in character as the babe magnet Bill Clinton. It helps that he really looks like him, but he's got the personality too. Big thanks to Ben and Gretchen Barretta as volunteer bartenders! It's quite a sight to see the costumed presidents and their first ladies dancing up a storm to Buck Love and the Humperheads. And Patti Foster got some deserved time in the limelight for all she does for the presidents, candidates and friends.

Had to miss the Triathlon, but Cathy Anderson Myers says they won't be on the same date next year.
