Who wants to know about the recent suicide at The Stonehouse? I know, but is that something people are interested in?
I'm a working journalist with 4 kids and soon-to-be 9 grandchildren
I think all local news should be reported in a professional and tactful as possible way. Despite the the "nature" of the news.

I would be interested in knowing if the person taking his life was in that food service training program for at risk individuals, one of the many transients who hang out in back of the Stonehouse or.................?

Dixie,
The local paper may report the man slit his wrists, but not report why he too this action. I would be interest in why he slit his wrists. What was the inner voice that drove him to take such a drastic action?

Dixie,
I heard to day that a job development and training agency has signed a lease on the Stonehouse. All the space except the third floor office at the back of the Stonehouse.
I guess you could call this entertainment suicide. I really liked the bar and food at the Stonehouse. We had many great times at the Stonehouse. Stonehouse RIP.
