...was a blast! Got to meet Katherine Diaz (Michelle Obama in the Marching Presidents!) with hubby Greg. Patrick Keneally's house/property is awesome! Don Lown brought a bottle of wine in a tiny guitar case -- cute! Laura the librarian still makes me laugh. Tom (Witness Protection) Smith was funny as always. Somehow I ended up in a class full of comedians. Megan there with Don, Josh and his wife, but some notables were missing.
Where was Ned? And Pam? And Barbara? Sarah? Michele? Holly? Chip? Doug?
A good time was had by all!

Driving by The Willo on the way -- saw it was packed, as always! I heard they raised prices...true? Probably still a giant bargain.

Nevada City Grower's Market was jumping this morning. Not much produce yet, but we got some radishes and turnips. We will be harvesting 3 kinds of zuchinni Sunday from our garden!
Many congrates to the latest group of NCCLI alums....i think we can all agree it is a rewarding experience and very informative.

Dixie, I had the best time at the graduation party; it mirrored all the fun we've had in class this year. We did end up with a class full of comedians, didn't we? Even the "quiet" ones were quietly hilarious. For example, I'll never forget Sarah's Oscar-winning performance in the mock-BOS meeting. Our classes were part stuffed-with-information, part celebrity roast (with Don the usual good-sport target). I learned so much and have great ideas for collaborations I want to do with some of our classmates in the future. One great and wonderful thing about the class was meeting YOU. Bill and I will be inviting you and the hubby over soon.

Con-grad's Dixie and all the other NCCLI 2009 grads. It takes a lot of effort and committment to undertake the long, but very rewarding NCCLI process. Thank you all for caring about our great community!
Well done!
